- Description: Back in the late 1970’s, the Town of West Hartford’s Division of Human Services established a Food Pantry to provide food to West Hartford residents with emergency needs. Qualifying residents are eligible for a bag of non-perishable groceries. Donations of food and money to support the Food Pantry come from a variety of sources throughout West Hartford; faith communities, schools, businesses, civic organizations and clubs, neighborhood groups, families and individuals.
