- Description: Our parish food pantry is a welcoming, dependable source of nutritious food, respect and social contact to the needy of our community. We gather food, purchase needed items, prepare and distribute bags of groceries to whoever comes to our door. We distribute food four times a month – generally on the first and third Saturdays and the second and fourth Fridays. Shopping generally takes one hour and is based on your schedule. We bag on Thursday for Friday’s distributions starting at 5:30pm and generally takes one hour. Friday’s distribution is from 10:00am-12:00pm, but we ask our volunteers to come 15 minutes early to set up. Saturday bagging and distribution lasts from 9:00 to11:00am.
