- Description: Our Redeemer Lutheran Church operates a food pantry that connects people in need of assistance in the Chugiak, Birchwood, Peters Creek, and Eagle River areas with basic food supplies. The distribution is based on family size and financial need. We now have USDA commidities and are a part of TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program). Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Food Pantry is an equal opportunity provider. We pray that this will be an opportunity to connect people in need not only with the physical food that is needed to survive, but with Jesus Himself who is the Bread of Life.
