- Description: Lake Area Ministries, Inc. (LAM) is a non-profit, non-denominational, faith based organization that has served the people of our Community for the past 20 years. Our primary mission is to serve as a Food Pantry in our Service area, which includes parts of Clay, Bradford, Putnam, and Alachua Counties. The boundaries are set in accordance with the school districts. We work in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and use their criteria to determine eligibility as set by Federal guidelines. We provide services regardless of race, religion, gender, age, disabilities, or national origin.
