Details: Open Doors of Westfield Washington Township, Inc. is a Faith Based non-profit organization with a board of directors comprised of officers, representatives from numerous local churches and local citizens. OD Mission Statement: Open Doors of Westfield Washington Township is an expression of the ministry of Jesus Christ in our community to assist persons with physical and spiritual needs. Food Pantry: Families who qualify for help from Open Doors may come in once every thirty days. Our pantry receives food from local churches, business, boy scouts, Post Office Letter Carrier’s Union and school food drives. Personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies are also given because these items cannot be bought with food stamps. In previous years approximately 51,300 lbs. of food was given out. We are now serving an average of 85 families per month.

Details: Shepherd’s Gate Pantry is a volunteer basic needs outreach ministry of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, whose work is done in conjunction with the HELP Committee of our parish. Those in need right here in Hamilton County utilize Shepherd’s Gate Pantry. To use our services, clients must show proof of residency in Hamilton County. These clients may come to the pantry once a month. Some baby items are available through the pantry. Cribs and mattresses are given out by referral from several Hamilton County agencies, which include: Good Samaritan, Birthright, Healthy Families, and County Trustees. Baby clothing up to size 2T; baby food and formula; high chairs, strollers are sometimes available. We are one of few area pantries that supply these items.
