Details: We are volunteers with a mission to serve all of our neighbors struggling to feed themselves and their families. People are invited to visit us once each month and will find a variety of food, personal care, and other items. Our first priority is to provide both perishable and non-perishable food across all meals and food groups. Because government assistance is limited to food, and because personal care is vital to individual dignity, we are the designated paper products ministry of LOVE, Inc. in DeKalb County providing a variety of paper and personal care items as available. To care for the whole family, we strive to offer special items as available such as children’s books, small toys & games, and social service referral information. |

Details: The Sycamore Food Pantry is housed at Sycamore United Methodist Church at 160 Johnson Avenue, Sycamore, Illinois 60178. The Food Pantry is a cooperative venture of the community with food donations and volunteer help provided by several area churchs and organizations. To receive benefits of the Sycamore Food Pantry you must be a resident of Sycamore and be able to provide a photo ID, two piece of current mail showing your current address, and be willing to supply additional information as needed. The Food Pantry is open to those in need every Monday (except certain holidays, i.e. Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Day, etc - in which case the Food Pantry will generally be open on Tuesday) from 12 noon to 4 p.m. In addition, on the second Monday of each month, the Food Pantry extends its hours from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. |
