Details: Our current pantry hours: Monday 10-3PM, Thursday 1-6PM. Participation Requirements: If you don’t have an ID, Clients will be considered residents of Indiana by self-declaration (no ID required) the first visit. By the 2nd visit you need to bring an ID, library card, bill or something to show that you are a resident of Jackson County. Clients will be served once every 30 days. If you are not a resident of Jackson County you will be served ONE time only. You will also be given food pantry information for your respective county.

Details: Community Provisions, located at 107 West Bruce Street in Seymour, is open Tuesdays and Fridays from noon until 3:00 p.m. Clients are asked to call ahead to make an appointment so that we can provide prompt service to meet their needs. Families may be referred by a township trustee, a church or other social services. However, an official referral is not required at this time. Food drives conducted by local churches, schools and service organizations provide a large portion of our food supplies. Provisions has only one part-time employee, the Director of Operations. Provisions is the largest food pantry in the county. An average of 201 families utilized Provisions each month in 2004. As a general rule families are provided food only one time per month. The amount of food supplied depends on the number of family members and is expected to feed them for an average of three days.
