Santa Rosa First Church of God - Mother’s Kitchen Food Pantry
Petaluma, CA 94952
Details: With a heart to help others and a giving spirit, Rev. Jewel M. Scott was always feeding and clothing those in need. A mother of 13 children Rev. Jewel M. Scott knew what it took to stretch a meal or re-used clothing. The S.R. 1st Church of God originally was located in Santa Rosa CA and has been serving Sonoma County since 1966. Our passion is to carry Spiritual food to the lost. As we seek to help those in need of the gospel we've learned people have real physical needs as well. We care deeply for the community, friends and neighbors who are struggling not just financially but mentally emotionally yes and physically. Today the food program now is helping provide food and relief to those in need. Each Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church on Roblar Rd in Petaluma CA. Sonoma County residents in need can receive assistance from the food pantry.
UCC Petaluma Food Pantry
Petaluma, CA 94952
Details: Through our ecumenical food pantry, we provide supplemental groceries to 50-60 families per week. We founded the pantry in 2003, when it became clear that there were limited options for food assistance in Petaluma. Happily, since this time, the situation has improved with the addition of 2 more weekly pantries modeled after ours, involving more faith communities, and the founding of Petaluma Bounty, whose work we support. At this point, families in need can find multiple sources of assistance, and receive healthy, fresh food at no cost. Each Saturday from 10-12:30.
