Details: The Orange City Area Food Pantry is hosted by American Reformed Church and supported by 15 partner churches as well as numerous individuals and community businesses and organizations. Located in the lower level and accessible via a south entry from the parking lot, the Food Pantry serves an average of one family each week. Special distributions are made at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and mid-summer. Food Pantry groceries are available to anyone; people who need to visit the pantry regularly are asked to bring a referral from their pastor, deacon, social worker, public health nurse or DHS agent. To visit the Food Pantry or refer someone for Food Pantry assistance, simply stop in Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or call the church office, 737-4430. |
