Details: In the last few years our food closet had become our main charitable outreach to the community. At present we are providing food for nearly a thousand families a month. To meet these demands, each week we bring about four thousand pounds of food into The Salt Mine where it is sorted, bagged, boxed, and distributed to qualified families. Each food box provides a family with three meals a day for seven days. We are so grateful to our many volunteers who make all this possible. We could not do all that is required if it were not for their tireless help. |
