Details: The mission of Acadiana CARES is to address the issues associated with the HIV/AIDS pandemic and provide education and services for HIV prevention and care for those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The Food Bank provides food and nutritional supplements to supplement food stamps and other nutrition assistance programs. These individuals must meet the income guidelines set forth by Second Harvest. All human beings benefit from wholesome food, but people living with HIV/AIDS must have a healthy diet to maintain their health.

Details: St. Joseph Diner prepares and serves free lunch meals from 11:00 am - 11:50 am every day to anyone who is hungry. St. Joseph Diner only requires that individuals seeking a meal treat each other, volunteers and staff with respect and dignity. Emergency food boxes are distributed to individuals in crisis who are accessing an emergency pantry for the first time.
