Wednesday Food Pantry & Saturday Soup Kitchen East Orange, NJ 07018 973.678.1160	Details: Wednesday Food Pantry: The Food Pantry is open Wednesdays from 10 AM to just before noon. In conjunction with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Christ Church provides fresh and boxed groceries and frozen meats to families and individuals in need. A dedicated group of parishioners gather each week to pick up and then distribute the food. Although primarily serving residents of East Orange, our actual "catchment" goes far beyond the immediate neighborhood to include residents from as far away as Irvington, South Orange and Elizabeth. Saturday Soup Kitchen: Each Saturday the Soup Kitchen opens its doors to provide a hot meal served with love and respect from 12 to 1 PM. People from other religious communities and from business organizations all over northern New Jersey make up our dedicated group of volunteers who serve on a rotating basis to provide the delicious and creative meals our guests enjoy. Things begin when the volunteers gather at about 10:30 to arrange the hall and prepare the meal. They serve it and usually provide our guests with a bag lunch to take with them. Then it's time to clean up and depart, usually by about 1 PM.

Isaiah House Food Pantry East Orange, NJ 07017 973.678.5882	Details: The Isaiah House Food Pantry serves members of the community with food bags to address an immediate need. Food bags are distributed based on a referral from another community agency such as: churches, health centers, welfare, clinics, etc. Referrals can be in the form of a letter from the community agency on their letter head or their internal vouchers. Pantry hours are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-2pm and Friday 12-3:30pm.
