Details: St. Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry is operated by the Parish of St. Elizabeth of Hungary as a component of its Social Concerns Ministries. On a weekly basis, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry provides food and other hygiene essentials to between 200 and 250 underserved families in Desert Hot Springs, North Palm Springs, Thousand Palms, and Whitewater. We have been a positive force in food insecurity prevention in the community for over 25 years. We have a Board of Directors that make the decision and we operate under the guidance and supervision of the Pastor. Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry is recognized as a community organization that understands the food and basic hygiene needs of low income families, the elderly, the unemployed, the underemployed, the disabled , and the homeless. We especially want to make sure that at-risk children have food on the table. We distribute food every Tuesday from 7:30 Am- 9:30 A.M. |

Details: Food Now is a non-profit organization that was established 1989 in Desert Hot Springs. It’s ran by David and Dana Johnson along groups of helpful and committed citizens who donate their time and effort. It is our mission to alleviate hunger and fight food insecurity in our communities by providing healthy and nutritious food for people in need. Through education and nutritional support, we promote the health and wellness of families, infants and children. Registration: Tues. & Wed. - 1:00pm; Distribution: Tues. Wed. & Thurs. - 9:00am and 11:30am |
